Sleepily reading.
I’m supposed to be reading (but what’s new? I’m constantly inundated with things to read for my seminars), but I keep falling asleep. I guess I can only blame myself for that - I didn’t exactly have an early night last night. And I have a cold, too, and they always drain my energy. I also have no voice, and I’m not sure whether that’s due to the cold, or to the shouting in order to be heard in Falmer Bar and The Cube last night. Or a combination of both.
Still, it’s Saturday and I keep thinking it’s Sunday, which means I have an extra day to do my reading.
I apologise for this completely pointless post. It’s just a method of procrastionation. Why is it that I can manage to stay awake when I’m sitting at the computer doing nothing in particular, but as soon as I try to read, my eyelids begin to droop? Psychological reactions, I hate you.
