Shopping in Sainsbury’s.
I haven’t done a post in almost 2 weeks, so I’m doing one now because Daniel was complaining that he’d spent 10 minutes of his life setting up this blog for me, and I musn’t make those 10 minutes a wasted 10 minutes.
I went shopping in Sainsbury’s this afternoon with Emmy-Lou (well, her name is Emma but I call her Emmy-Lou. She calls me Emmy-Liz. We’re cool people) and I bought so much stuff. Although Emmy-Lou gave me a lift to Moulsecoomb station, I still had to stumble up the stairs with my 7 bags, and then from the station onto the train and then from the train to my flat. That was the worst part because I didn’t have any free hands to open the gate, or the outside door or my flat door. I kept having to put everything down to get my key out. And as I was approaching the outside door, my bottle of vodka decided it wanted to make a break for it and poked its way through the plastic bag so I had to stop an extra time to shove it back in the bag.
Now my arms hurt a LOT. The muscles in my lower arms (whatever they’re called - I’d probably know if someone told me but I’ve no idea just off the top of my head) feel as if they’re shaking. It’s not a particularly pleasant experience, it must be said.
Oh, and I didn’t even get a receipt from my shopping because the printer that prints the receipts broke down. And then the woman serving me got mad that I actually wanted a receipt. Well excuse me for wanting to check that I’m not being ripped off!
*sighs*
But besides that, it was all good. At least I have food now.
