Each - space - other

Over the past few days, on my wanderings around the internet, I’ve noticed there is a considerable amount of people who spell ‘each other’ as all one word: ‘eachother’.

WHY?

‘Each’ and ‘other’ are separate words, and yes, there are some words that you can join together to form a single word (eg. whenever, anywhere), but you just don’t do it with ‘each’ and ‘other’! No one has ever taught them to spell it like that, so what the hell possessed them to think it was right?

… that’s pretty much all I have to say.

(and now the word ‘each’ looks really weird. Look at it. Isn’t it a weird looking word?)

I always write “aswell” in one word before realising that it is in fact the same couple of words I wrongly group together.
