Thermometer.
My mother sent me a thermometer a couple of weeks ago. It’s one of those ones that tells you the temperature inside and out (there’s a wire that you stick out a window, with a sensor at the end). At first I was quite excited by this, because … well, because I’m cool, and because knowing the outside temperature is useful.
But over the past week or so, I’ve come to realise that the thermometer isn’t exactly what you might call accurate.

Yes, it is a nice day - the sun is shining and the sky is clear blue - but no way in hell is it 25.5° outside. We’re in Britain and it’s February. When it gets to 25.5° at this time of year, I’ll start worrying about global warming.
Though the thermometer is from Lidl and therefore cheap, so really, what did I expect?
