Yup, I’m back in Brighton. I’m so glad to be back. I really quite like this whole living-in-Brighton-but-not-having-to-go-to-university thing.

I recorded this yesterday, but forgot to post it here. Silly me!

When I was in Canda, I bought a fife, and attempted to learn to play Yankee Doodle on it. I managed to get “Yankee doodle went to town, riding on a po - “, but that’s as far as I got. I didn’t practise for ages, and have now completely lost the ability to make a decent sound come out of the thing, Goddamnit. So I’m taking it back to Brighton with me and shall annoy my housemates with my attempts to play. Excellent.

Also, I’m confused about this whole ‘the world’s going to end’ thing. Should the world have ended by now, if it was going to end? Or are we safe? Because I’m having my hair cut this afternoon and if the world really is going to end, I’d like it to be after I’ve had my hair cut, so at least my life will have ended with my having tidy hair.
Of course, the world NOT ending is preferable. I quite want to carry on living, kthanx.

Wow, 2 entries in the space of less than a week. Whatever is the world coming to?!

I have some new wellies! This is exciting. I like wellies.

Also, I realise I don’t specify to what I’m getting the keys to; my student house in Brighton. Just in case it wasn’t obvious.

Yes, I’m back from Canada. While I was there, I did quite a lot of filming, so I’ve edited some of it together to make an exciting whirwind tour video blog entry. We stayed at 6 different hotels in the space of 2 weeks, so there was plenty for us to do!

I’ve made the clips of each thing quite short, so despite the whole entry being just over 7 minutes long, it should be at least partially interesting.

In case you’re wondering; we didn’t actually go to the McDonalds I say we’re stopping at. We went into a supermarket instead.

Hihi. I went to Brighton for the weekend, and I’m going to Canada tomorrow. It’s all very exciting.

I feel slightly … numb. And I’m not sure why.

I’m back in Cardiff for the summer =(
Okay, maybe it doesn’t quite deserve a sadface, but still. I miss my room in Stanmer Court, and I miss the kitchen with the little flying creatures and the clogged sink and the dying microwave, and I miss the incredibly changeable temperature in Arts A2, and I miss walking all the way across campus to see any of my non-flatmate friends.
I missed all those things when I came home for Christmas and Easter, but at least then I knew I’d be going back within a month. This time I’m not going back for at least 2 months, and even when I do go back it’ll all be different. I’m not good with change.

Anyway, yes, have a video blog entry …

This video blog entry provides you with a treat, since it’s not just me rambling on - there’s the added bonus of 5 of my friends. Excellent.

I should really start packing up my room, since I’m moving out of university accommodation on Saturday and my parents are coming to collect most of my stuff tomorrow. But ugh, so much effort. I don’t want to leave my room =(

Look, look, I did a video blog entry!

The lighting in my room makes my face look all shiny, and my hair’s weirdly flat, so you know, not the best video ever. But still!

The bit at the end is incredibly random with no particular purpose, but it made me laugh and I felt it should be shared with the world.
(also, just as a point of reference, it was Daniel filming at that point, not me. I do not have testicles. Really)
